My mind is slow these days. You may have noticed I haven't blogged that much lately. To be honest I don't know what to write. I feel I am repeating myself, telling the same story over and over again. And that is because that is how we are, doing similar things every day.

I have seen the hit rate drop and I understand you, or rather those who have already left and no longer read. I know there are some who read and care and I can't say how grateful I am. But I don't know what to write about. Any suggestions? Where can I take this blogging thing without saying the same things over and over again?

Sorry for sounding a little blue but I don't really have much inspiration. Maybe it is still some winter blues hanging in there...or not. Take care, Dear Readers. Love you!

Don't push the river, Miranda; when you do post something it is always a treat and worth the wait. x

What Jim said, Miranda. The glimpses you give us into your life with Felicia are always a pleasure, and frankly make me a little jealous.

Don't get discouraged! (Felicia probably has a cure for that...)

Some things bear repeating, and your stories are among them. Don't worry about change for its own sake.

I can't speak for others, but as for myself, I enjoy the candid reality you bring to the table. It is quite refreshing!
Jus let it happen. When it is right, you will know!
I love (and agree with) Debbie's comment that Felicia probably has a cure!
Let's get in a summe state of mind and put away all of the winter blahs!
Your faithful readers will wait.

Blog for yourself not for your readers, your sincerity is what makes your blog so compelling.

I agree with everything everyone has said. It's supposed to be enjoyable for you to blog, and enjoyable for us to read it. We have been enjoying it very much, but if you keep putting pressure on yourself you're not going to enjoy it anymore. So let it happen as it happens, and don't worry about posting to fit a schedule.

On another note, what I find as a writer is that I am often inspired to write by doing other creative activities. It can be reading other people's work, it can be listening to music or going to an art museum, it can be gardening or cooking. Things that are creative in nature can help the muse to flow again. You may want to consider reading other people's blogs, as they often discuss subjects which may spark your own thoughts. Lots of times people's ideas can trigger similar (or completely different) thoughts in ourselves.

Two blogs I've discovered which I find very interesting are The S Word and New to Spanking. These are just a couple of examples...there are many interesting blogs out there.

Hang in there...and don't stress about it! ;)

Dear Jim, your words really makes me happy. I won't disappear.

Dear Debbie, thank you for saying that. And yes, she has a cure for most things, kind of universal cure...smiles.

Dear Dorphin, that is some encouragement. Makes me want to continue more.

Dear S. in Dallas, spring is on its way, if not already here. I feel a little more cheerful now...although a little sore...giggles.

Dear Tomatoes, those words are true. Maybe I am a little too concerned with what you readers may think.

Dear Alyx, yes, you are right, it should be fun and a pleasure to write and it generally is. I think it is just one of those down periods that occur from time to time.

The encouragement I get from you, dear readers, is very helpful. Thank you all for that.
